Vittjärvsgården is an independent preschool located in the village of Vittjärv in Boden. The preschool has three departments: Hugin for ages 2-4, Munin for ages 1-3, and Oden for 5-year-olds. The premises consist of an old Norrbotten farm and a multi-story building that have been renovated to suit the operations. The yard is large and features, among other things, a sledding hill, a cycling area, swings, currant bushes, and our own little plot for gardening. We are close to the forest and lake for excursions. Lunch is prepared in the school kitchen and served in each department. One day a week, vegetarian food is served.

We work with themes according to Bifrost, where we start with an experience, such as theater, activity stations in the yard, and every spring we conclude with a vernissage where we invite guardians to view the children's exhibition of their work. We place great emphasis on language and this year also on technology, which is the theme of the year.

We are now looking for a childcare worker for Oden as a substitute for our colleague who will be on parental leave for a year.

You should enjoy being outdoors, be flexible, able to take responsibility, and collaborate. It is a plus if you have experience working with children.

A criminal record extract must be presented before employment in the preschool.

A driver's license is required.
